Hall of Fame |
The Centenary Season saw the
formation of the Hall of Fame, with 136 inducted, 100 players, 10 coaches, 10
umpires, 10 administrators and 6 media representatives who had made a
significant contribution since football's inception in 1858.
Twelve of the 100 players were
elevated to Legends of the Game status. Four have been added subsequently. |

This cover is the
official Australia Post AFL Centenary Cover. It shows four of the Peel and stick
stamps representing Melbourne, Collingwood, Fremantle and Footscray. It is
stamped with the Complementary National First Day of Issue Postmark (PMCF 372)
and overprinted with the Hall of Fame cachet. |
