Darryl Baldock

Darrel Baldock was chosen by the Saint Kilda Football Club as its player to be included on the inside of the Saint Kilda Stamp Booklet.

He played 119 games for Saint Kilda, kicking 236 goals between 1962 and 1968. He was the Saints captain from 1963 to 1968 and coach from 1987 to 1989. He won their best and fairest on three occasions in 1962, 1963 and 1965. Darrel Baldock won the Saints only premiership as Captain in 1966.

He was legendary for his amazing ball skills and balance.

After returning to Tasmania he became a member of Parliament and Minister in the Labor Government.

Darrel Baldock was named as player member of the Hall of Fame, era 1961-1995, named during the Centenary Season.

In 2003 he was named as the initial Legend in the Saints Hall of Fame. He was also on the tab of one of the  Premiership Players Club Stamps.
