Port Adelaide won their first
AFL premiership on the 25th September by defeating the Brisbane Lions by 40
points.
For the First time Australia Post issued a Souvenir Event Sheet on Monday the
27th September to commemorate the win. The sheet had ten Globe and map stamps
with the Premiership Cup in the label.
